No sealant or wax applied yet, but I plan to use carnuba wax as a regular regimen. I am going to put on another application of hydrosilex tonight. I would say durability is great for a couple weeks at least. Since I have not gone longer than that between coatings, I can’t say anything about it beyond two weeks or so. But I’m happy with it.

+1 for Hydrosilex. Absolutely love it - apply it dry so you don't blast through a lot of product.
If you want something even easier check out Sonax Spray N Seal. Both excellent products. I prefer Hydrosilex but the convenience of Spray N Seal is awesome. PNS + Brilliant Shine Detailer from Sonax is also a GREAT combo. If DetailersDomain carries it (which they do), you'll be beyond satisfied - assuming you apply the products properly. |

I've had this stuff on my F250 for 3 months and it is holding up great. Did the wife's SUV about a month ago and just finished my car today. I used my foam cannon on my truck and wife's car and then the next day sprayed it on dry to ensure a really good coat. My car I just sprayed it on dry since I got the e-mail saying that's the way they recommend from now on. Using the foam cannon wasted a ton of product but it got it everywhere. I only did the paint on my car but I also only had a little left so I was trying to make it last to the end. I've now used 2 of the bigger containers total on 3 cars and 5 coats.
So far all have looked great so I plan to continue to use this stuff. We both go from a climate controlled garage at home to a parking garage at work so that helps it last longer I'd say. |

Just used Hidrosilex. As stated, probably the easiest sealant/coating I have ever used. If it holds up, this will be my new sealant. I also have the car garaged at home and work, so hopefully that will help.

Trying to learn the best steps to perform on my 2019 M4. I just took it home last week and have 250miles on it. I wanted to learn if I should wash it with a stripping type wash because the dealer looked like they put a light polish on it?? Then do I need IronX?
What would be next? A paint sealer? My color is Shakir Orange Metallic II Looking for recommened Steps please... Thanks!! |

Thank you very much.
Any particular light polish recommended ? Also if I decide to put a paint protection film on the car can it go on top of this process? Also in regards to that does the paint have to be prepared To make sure there's no swirls or marks before they put the film on? Not sure if I would usually do that or the installer? Thanks again |
