What’s going on with GTS prices?

I'd be happy if the prices remain stable.

E36 M3 lightweight did horrible when it came out. It's definitely a collector car now.

Go give BMW Langley a call. I heard they will sell their GTS for under 120k.

And yet it's still a fabulous track weapon. It's running within a second or two of a well driven GT3 at VIR. Day Laborer ran a 2:07 in the white group a couple of weeks ago, and there is still time in his lap. A well driven GT3 is doing 2:05 at best, so the car works well on track! It's a steal at these prices for track use. Even Pat agrees with that, and he has no idea what he's talking about!

Prices have not dropped much in Montreal. None in BMW dealer showrooms and the low mileage “used” ones are all advertised at MSRP or more. Porsche prestige is even asking $190k for their 900km example . Scotti has a 8km one and is asking $160k.

Looks like the leftover ones have reached the right asking price. 5 more M4 GTS sold this week. At this rate, this thread will be done by the end of July...

Unless you have to have a certain color its not worth buying a used one. There are a couple of stragglers that are new still that you can get a fantastic deal on. Lets just say I found one by accident and the dealer didn't even have it posted.

Just be careful because there are some I have seen posted NEW but have mileage between 80-200 miles plus. These were used as advertising vehicles. Still new but Not fresh out of the box.

You are right. Like Day Laborer said, only six new ones left. The other pseudo new ones do not have the full 4 year warranty any more.

That being said, only 5 show "new" on autotrader, only 4 of those are less than 100 miles on the odometer

I am genuinely curious if the used prices market will see an increase once no more new ones are available

You can find them even cheaper. I’ve seen some in the 80s. At auction they are even cheaper.

I wonder how these prices hold when CS models hit the show rooms. I saw the price sheet of a M3 CS at 110k just few days ago at my dealership.

Should be fairly simple for dealer to check the in-service date (I believe this is the date the car is first titled also, but they should confirm this). That's the first day the clock starts on the warranty
