My Plan when 2015 pricing that was available:

Base M3 (F80) $62,000
Alpine White $0
SO Extended $950
Carbon Fiber Trim $0
Manual ZMT $0
Harmon Kardon $875
Adaptive $1,000
19" Black Wheels $1,200
Dest/Handling $950

US MSRP = $66,975
ED Invoice = $57,705

New plan with 2016 pricing

Base M3 (F80) $63,200
Alpine White $0
SO Extended $950
Carbon Fiber Trim $0
Manual ZMT $0
Harmon Kardon $875
Adaptive $1,000
19" Black Wheels $1,200
Dest/Handling $950

US MSRP = $67,300
ED Invoice = $57,935

So with HK being standard now:

Total price increase in MSRP for me: $325

Total price increase in Invoice for me = $230

Would I have paid $230 for Comfort Access for a 2015 M3? Hell yeah
you're not good at math

One thing is for sure. One of you isn't good at math.

I think the 2nd HK shoudl have been $0 instead of $875...that's how it added up (and should add up). Final conclusion is correct.

I have always found it amusing that BMW raises the price of their cars when the value of the dollar goes down. How come BMW never lowers the price of their cars when the value of the dollar is high, as is the case now.

Sorry guys, mistake in copy pasting but that math is correct. I have edited the original post.

Thank you.

Maintenance plan?

Does the fact that a 12-month oil change is listed as an included maintenance item mean that the rest of the maintenance plan is no longer offered?

There is the current $1000 Anniversary cash on sedans. Couple that with UDE and that's $2K if you can find one.

Summary of 2016 model year changes, by mkoesel:
•Comfort Access Keyless Entry (322)
•Satellite Radio with 1-year subscription (655)
•harman/kardon Surround Sound System (688)

...Plus some boring new exterior colors, and chrome all over the interior...
That's is not a bad value: $1.2K buys you HK sound (very nice to have) and comfort access (nice to have). XM radio quality is @#$%, but now everyone gets it.

One thing people wanted was the back-up camera, but no luck on that count.

Usually, it's model specific.
MY'15s will be just what's left in dealer inventory.
For all new/custom/ED orders, it will be MY'16.

I doubt it.
Few people care THAT much about HK, and those who do, will upgrade the stereo system beyond HK anyway.

I am guessing this does not apply to ED? Correct?

That's just a selling point, you will still have 4yr/50k maintenance, they are just highlighting it as a standard feature. They have the same 8KL option listed on their other ordering/pricing guides.

Not really ... That is less than 1% u can get it by being a tougher negotiator
Yeah but now you can negotiate starting from a lower price, and get it even lower!

Interesting - I'm one of those people who likes to order *almost all* options/packages. The only two options I am not ordering are the ceramic brakes and the Parking Assistant. Comparing my M4 2015 MSRP vs. 2016 MSRP (And NO, I am NOT planning to pay anything close to MSRP, but just stating here for comparison sake...) it looks like it'll run me about $900 less.

Funny how even just a few $$ saved can make one feel good.

Yep... for those that like to tick off boxes this pricing update is all good news. And for those that like stripped down models it isn't that bad. Pricing-wise bmw did a great job here, as far as colors are concerned they have left something to be desired.

Yes, same for me. Those are the only two boxes I won't check. You'll save exactly $825 , this year over a MY2015.

Very disappointing for me.
I could care less about Comfort Access or HK sound - now i got to pay $1,200 extra for worthless features.

All i was hoping for was LED headlights to be standard and for backup camera to be standalone option like it is on regular 3series.
I NEED the backup camera in NYC. Parallel parking is tough enough in the city, without it just takes much longer unless u dont care about your bumpers. At least PDC should be standard - i had it on my E92 without the camera.

Plus still no nice BLUE color!

Sorry man. I totally agree with the camera option and more colors but making HK and CA standard totally worked out for me so I cant complain. Guess we all want different things

Yeah, that excites me. But honestly, I was probably getting the exec pkg anyways.

Priority 1. This means it has to be a sold car ordered by a customer. Not a dealer order.

Same here. Planning to order every option (never like the feeling of skipping options and regretting not ordering it later) Now that I have the numbers, just looking for a dealer to put together a Euro Delivery deal for September/October for a price reasonably close to Euro Delivery invoice.

Still in the process of finding one
