CDV Delete?

It feels like there is a Clutch Delay Valve in the new M3/M4 6MT cars. Does anyone find it bothersome? I feel like I can enjoy the car more without the CDV.

Does anyone has a solution to delete it?

I did a CDV delete in my 135. Pretty sure there is no CDV in this car. Most noticeable was during hard 1-2 shifts. I haven't noticed it at all.

There have been threads on this other places, people saying that the last generation car did not have a CDV. It did. Here is a link showing what several previous generations CDV looked like. http://www.zeckhausen.com/cdv.htm I just wonder if the F8x has a CDV. I am not complaining about the clutch but the CDV in previous models made a big difference.

The E9x M3 does not have a CDV, only the non-M manual E90 cars have one.

I may be mistaken but I looked it up on Real OEM, part # 13 http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...08&hg=21&fg=10

Either way, this thread has been dead for a while, just wondering if we have it.

That's a generic picture. Note that the #13 is not called out in the parts list...because it's not used on the M3. I have both a 6MT E90 M3 and a 6MT E90 330i, and the 330i definitely came with one (I defeated that one with a gutted replacement from Zeckhausen ages ago), but the M3 doesn't have one.

Regards,
Chuck

Just curious if the Manual cars have the Clutch Delay Valve like the e46?
