I believe the offer was for a free one-day Driver's School ($849) which can be upgraded to a one-day M School ($1550) by paying the $701 difference.

I contacted BMW about this several months and was told they'd get back to me, but didn't. I recently won a one-day M School and when I called to schedule it and to also enroll my wife, they asked if I wanted to use the one-day Driver's School credit I had available and pay the difference. So we're both going to Performance Center West (Thermal) in November for $701! The Driver's School offer also included two nights at the Embassy Suites in Palm Desert.

My F80 was delivered at the end of February and I received my invitation in early June.

I recently got the one for the Car Control School or whatever. I upgraded it to the one day M School and am going at the end of August. Two nights hotel free.

Are you guys all leasing or financing through BMWFS?
How many BMWs have you owned in the past?

I heard these are two factors that determine if you will get invited or not, but I am not sure if this is true.

I'm really curious about this. I'd love to get my hands on a voucher.

I signed my paperwork for my '18 M4 in May. Hopefully I'll get one! Second BMW, second one through BMW FS.

I'm on my second M. I purchased both and I think I got an invite the first time around but not really sure. This time I was given not only an email but a fancy package from BMW that included a USB drive. Either BMW is upping their game or I am imagining they tried to reward me for buying their cars. This year was the first time I took them up on one of their offers (M track day) since it didn't require much investment. Now I am probably going to spend a few grand trying to attend one of their M performance school in Spartanburg or Thermal.!

It's been 2 years and I GOT NO SUCH FUCKING THING.

Thought this was just a rumor actually. So pissed.

I did get the stupid USB drive (was like 64MB or something... but did look pretty cool), and paid for a visit to Spartanburg subsidized by BMWCCA out of my own pocket.

Definitely going Porsche when the lease is up.

In our case, my wife's 2011 335is was new and financed through BMW FS. I bought a used 2006 Z4 M Roadster in 2012, paid cash, but the car is registered on our My BMW website. Last year I bought a 2016 M4 and financed through BMW FS. I'm pretty sure that it was the purchase of the M4 that qualified me for the Driver's School.

I only found out that I was eligible because I called to make a reservation for the One Day M School that I won and they told me I was eligible. If you bought a new F8x I suggest that you call 888-345-4269 and see if you are eligible for the One Day Driver's School and then upgrade to an M School.

Did you read the Thank You card that was included with the "stupid USB drive"? I just got my sUSB in the mail a couple weeks ago, and in the thank you card it states:

"As an additional token of our appreciation, we'd like to invite you to a one-day car control school at BMW Performance Driving School, free of charge, so you can experience the full meaning of the letter M."

I had also received the free driving school email a few months ago, but just haven't booked it yet. You have up until a year past your car delivery date to book.

My Euro Delivery date was 5/13/16 and I was apparently still eligible.

Got the car 18 months ago and no vouchers. Can anyone suggest the way to get one?
I paid for car control clinic driving the Ms and it was fun (or maybe it was an m school I don't know) but I paid for it. Man it was fun.

Pretty sure this optional invite is based on financing through BMW only. I got better financing elsewhere and never got an invite, even the USB welcome package I just received didn't include such offer(s).

I received the USB and welcome card. I financed a 2017 M3. I received no offer for a free PDS. I called the number a few months ago to inquire about these free track day offers and they told me it applies zcp cars only. #sux

That USB and welcome package was a gift of a free driving school day and I believe hotel stay that you could have taken advantage of. You just needed to make your own travel arrangements. You could also use it as credit for their more advanced schools which is what I am planning to do.

I have not heard of anyone getting a free track day. Everyone I know in the M club that went this week paid $250 whether they had a ZCP or not (and I'm talking about at least 25 people).

The special offer was the opportunity to buy a slot and attend the event. What you get has to be worth more than $250 it was definitely a good bang for you buck deal.

Yes, you get a free PDS not a free track day these are two completely different events. I too got the PDS which I am thinking about upgrading to a 2 day M performance school.

I also was given the opportunity to go to an M track day at a preferred track. I just did Circuit of the Americas on Thursday and it was $250. Right now they are offering those who went to the track day 20% off of the Driving Schools. I am going to use my free day and the 20% discount towards the 2 day option.

I was thinking I got a free M Performance Driving school day and just has to purchase the 2nd day but someone else posted that there is a regular Performance Driving school and then there is the M Performance Driving School. The first being around $849 and the second being $1,550. The 2 day school is $3,999. I still think we got the M version single day worth $1,550 but I will be finding out soon when I call.

Either missed that part or it wasn't there. It's been a while (at least a year and a half). Just cracked open the usb again and there's just a bunch of videos and a super suspect html file with a bunch of flash content called "BMW Welcome".

I was being facetious but I think I would have remembered if there was an invitation in there. If I missed it, whoops. The day I paid for at the performance center was superb.
