Ceramic brake pads
Does anyone have experience with ceramic brake pads for standard M3 brakes?Mainly as a means to minimise brake dust ?

Apparently, they have a newer version (V23 I think) that's even better - it's a ceramic/carbon fiber compound or something - offers even more bite without the dust. |

Guys, I use and highly reccommend - Power Stop Z23-1656 Rear ceramic pads and equivalent fronts. EXCELLENT low dusting. Try searching for 'the brake guys in the US'. Were about $45 USD for rears. Can't remember the fronts $.
I wouldn't reccomment using on a race track tho. |

You may be able to use your existing sensors. They weren't expensive so I bought them anyway.

The reason I dislike them is the excess brake dust. I'll hopefully get these done in the next month or so. The biggest concern will be cold stopability and whether they need driving time to reach optimum function. Time will tell. |
