Official colors for the 4er Gran Coupé - not for M3/M4?

Bimmertoday Germany just revealed the right-from-the start available colors for the 4er Gran Coupé:

Alpine white
Black uni
Glacier silver met.
Midnight Blue met.
Kalahari beige met.
Black sapphire met.
Mineral grey met.
Melbourne red met.
Sparkling brown met.
Imperial blue met.
Mineral white met.
Jatoba met.

With M-Sport pack.:
Estoril blue met.
Carbon black met.
Mineral grey met.
Glacier silver met.
Sapphire black met.
Alpine white

BMW individual:
Citrin black met.
Pyrite brown met.
Moonstone met.
Brilliant white met.
Tansanite blue met.
Frozen Cashmere Silver met.

Seems to be a joke as to what they offer us for the M3/M4 (at least, so far)

Really wish they'd kept Estoril exclusive for the new M cars.

German configuration also has Frozen White and Frozen Grey listed as optionals for Indiv.
Seems pretty good, I really like the Frozen Grey.

I'm sure we'll see more color options becoming available for M3/M4 after some months.

Thanks a lot - all the more I am really disappointed of such a massif difference of color options.

There are twelve standard colors instead of the eleven offered for the 4 Series Coupe. For the M-Sport model they offer a second exclusive color not featured on the coupe.

So, the changes from the coupe are:

- Added Jatoba Metallic
- Kalahari Beige instead of Orion Silver
- Mineral White instead of Liquid Blue
- For M-Sport models only, Carbon Black instead of Jet Black

The Carbon Black will be a welcome addition and Jatoba is also a nice looking Dark Gray. But overall the choices have not seen dramatic change in my opinion, and nothing here that can be counted among the new offerings would drastically liven up the M3/M4 palette. The already-offered Estoril Blue or even Melbourne Red (or ideally a non-standard red like Imola as seen currently on the 6 M-Sport) would, to me, be the 4 Series colors that would be most widely welcome on the F8x order sheet.

By the way, at least some of the colors in your list of Individual colors above are already slated to be available for the F8x in Canada (and possibly some that are not on your list). I suspect they will be available in Germany also (probably at a premium over the standard eight).
