F80 M3 Poses With Alpina B3 F30
BIMMERPOST NEWS F80 M3 Spotted With Alpina B3 F30 The two most potent F30-based models, the F80 M3 and the Alpina B3 F30, pose together at the BMW M test center at the Nurburgring. The photos give us a look at how aggressive the F80 M3's styling (especially its big fenders) is compared to the more subtlely modified Alpina. The new M3 will make its debut at the 2014 Detroit auto show in mid-January. Follow our M3/M4 coverage at: http://www.bimmerpost.com/m4/ |

Excellent Jason. Love the pics. This is the sort of stuff that will help those of us who are waiting for their M4's/M3's. Crossing off the days as we get closer to the reveal and always looking for more info and pics to be released. Thanks again.

These are standard brakes (always in blue). Carbon ceramic brakes will be in gold.

M3 looks beast.
btw, does anyone actually like the Alpina wheels? They look so ghetto fabulous, I just don't understand why that's their go-to design. almost seems like the German version of hundred spokes. |

I find myself changing my mind on Silverstone II. I've not been a big fan but I start to appreciate the subtle blue hue and that it create a bit of uniqueness to all silver cars. IMO it needs silver wheels though, black is way to harsh. The blue color on the Alpina is really nice as well. Will Alpina never change their wheels? Still looks classy and fitting for the cars persona but also dated.

Nice! You can really see the rear fender flaring on the M3 vs the standard body F30 (Alpina) car. The M3 looks nice and aggressive. I do like Alpinia's rear spoiler lip though.

I've seen the wheels in person on my uncle's B7 and they look quite nice. They fit the B7 better than the B3 though.

Both looks huge...like 5-series, not 3-series.

That's until you park an F10 next to them. Then they'll look like Minis. Now if you park an E30 there they will look like 7 series and the F10 will look like a school bus...
I recently went from the 5 series to the 3 series and is now seriously considering the 2-series. This is while my family is growing but BMWs are growing much faster. I'm not complaining, smaller model number equals smaller $ number |
