Mine goes into production the following week (24). To the OP, I was waffling on DCT as well. I originally ordered it with as I had the same opinion that it is an amazing transmission. What swayed me to change it 2 weeks ago was I felt like I would get bored with it and you will never get bored with a manual. Plus I like saving $2900.

You absolutely are this time, at least according to the German calendar.

The rep at BMW NA confirmed the week and I asked her to line that up with and actual date. I wish you were right...

Thats why I hate week numbers, some companies 1st week is last week of Prev year December 2014/1st week of Jan 2015 - other companies start with the first full week in january depending on the previous years 52 weeks...

typically 2 weeks, another persons started Monday as well and his completion date is the 2nd, mine is the 1st

Were you originally scheduled to start production this week or did you get moved up? I've been seeing people getting moved up a week or so lately...

i was scheduled for week 23, from everything ive seen that is the anticipated completion date and not the week it starts

FYI- he is right.

My dealer confirmed with me because i was originally scheduled for a week 24. (June 8-14) which is the completion date, not beginning.

However I started on Monday

Yep! The people at the 800 number look up an outlook calendar, which is different.

I got concerned so I called my CA immediately and he then, in writing along with a screen shot sent me my confirmed production week.

Hahahahah I didn't mean to interrupt, but hey/ hopefully this means A) Miamiboy gets his car sooner and B) you get an apology! Win win if you ask me

Well -- Last night i dropped off my X3 M Sport to its new owner. I'll be driving an F150 Harley Davidson Edition until my M3 comes in...

Acutally transferred the car via Swapalease.com. really easy process. Only took about a week to transfer it with BMW.

I apologize profusely!!!! For the BMW NA rep... haha j/k thanks for the info - there go my "rep" points... lol

She (the BMW rep) screwed me though I changed by order to ED because I needed to move up the timeline to make sure I signed everything in June to take advantage of pull ahead. Oh well, poor me autobahn in an M car...
