Ask the guys who order the IND painted parts like side reflector covers or grill surrounds, IND cant match the paint very well and they return them......meaning you better have a REAL good paint shop to match when you get a ding or accident.
Ouch - good to know. Thanks.

Wow...that is not good news at all. I am glad I opted for alpine white given this news.

yes. i recommend you have the entire front end or the entire installed with xpel or another wrap.

my entire front end is covered, and you can't tell it's there. protects the paint. I've had run in's with rocks and tires on the highway and my front end looks great. I kind of regret not getting the entire car wrapped.

I had XPel on my old car. loved it.

Did you do entire front end meaning full hood? I did partial hood last time and was pleased, but am definitely considering full hood this time around

By the way, I sold my X3 a few weeks ago. I'm driving this beast until my real beast comes in. My brother was nice enough to lend me his old truck.

I did everything from the front bumper forward.

including headlights, all fenders, side mirrors.
also did door cups, and B pillars (those easily scratched black plastic moldings)

Here's my thread on it if you're interested:
