What is the earliest possible pickup date for ED pickup on a 2016 model M3 or M4?

Is the factory's schedule pretty much the same every year? I'm planning an ED around mid-august in 2016.

No way of knowing that but from the past it seems as though early summer has been consistent from past years.

you should be able to get more dialed in info come Jan next year for that I would assume

I was told the first day to pickup ED will be August 10th, but it all depends on the dealer allocation obviously. This information came directly from the BMW NA ED office.

How recent did you get this info? I was told mid August back in March.

I was told this yesterday, I have the email forwarded from ED office. I'm getting my dealers second allocation (July production) officially ordered tomorrow. My fingers are crossed for mid August ED. We shall see...

Thanks. My order goes in Friday. Supposed to be first in line. I've got a somewhat flexible schedule in August so I'm not too worried about getting a date.

So my CA just told me I will have confirmation for my 2016 M3 ED later today, and they think it will be 8/10, standby for updates.

Yes, they get priority 0 and you can get the benefit of transit time moving to the back end. Post delivery
