Just realized KW has electronically adjustable height control modules that will work for F80 sooooo tempting!

awesome glad you love the KW clubsports
How do the 3 way feel over the 2 way clubsports ? apart from the extra adjustability any more quality to thedamping / components used |

How are the CS's holding up? I'm between the V3 and CS right now and have read all of the threads in this section.
Have you had any issues with the spherical bearings? There seems to be atleast 4 members on our forums that have. (associated with a knock) As previously asked have you tried them on the softest setting? If so was the ride fairly compliant or still very track oriented? I have a feeling the V3 is the best option for me as the roads in my area are terrible (dramatic freeze and thaw delta) and I will only track the car a couple times a year. |

Hi Curt, Great write up as usual.
KW CS now have a stronger spring rate option. 628F 1028R I have gone for that option. Should be installed in two weeks. Everyone thinks I am a crazyman, but thats not that much stiffer than the originals. I am also comforted by Ohlins road and track being 1300 in the rear.

It lifts you out of your seat and will invoke the traction control system. I have changed them to the 900lb M2 kit and it is so much better. The 1300lb spring only belongs on smooth roads.

KW has offered the stiffer option for a reason. I will give it a go. Pretty confident I will like it. I'll let you know.

how is it unbearable on the street? I thought softening rebound for low speed and finding a good balance of compression for the high speed-low speed would be the perfect combination.
Can someone enlighten me? I had ac schnitzer rs and my problem was it was perfect for high speeds but then too harsh for low speeds. So I was thinking low speed rebound would sort me out. I now have kw ddc, again I just use sport setting. Comfort and sport plus not so good. |

I use CS-2 way for daily street driving and once a month tracking (competitive) and have no issues with the comfort. this is also on full bucket seats.
I run compression 10-12 clicks from full hard daily, and 1-2 clicks from full hard for track. I leave rebound settings on track settings as that doesn't really affect comfort.
