At this point some people are getting awfully close to invoice pricing. I'd expect $4k off MSRP by now. I received about $4,500 off MSRP in December.

I got an offer for 67k MSRP for 65K with invoice being at 63.4K. He says he won't go any less since theres not that many around this price.
Btw is it true the money factor for m3 is .0014? Is it good to be higher or lower?

Thanks in advance

I suppose that's the going rate for cars that have more options. Best I've seen on the west coast is $1000 over with the holiday credit. Too bad holiday credit is gone but the residuals went up for January

$1600 over invoice is great if you ask me - west coast pricing that is.
MF or buy rate is .0013 so don't settle for anything over. Lower is better.

The MF is .00130 not .00140. The MF is the finance charge on a lease (the interest rate) so lower is better.

MF lower is better. Residual higher is better.

New your opinion

I got a quote from a dealership in PA (I reside in NJ) regarding the following config:

Mineral Grey Metallic
Black Extended Merino Leather
Carbon Fiber Interior Trim
Driver Assistance Plus
Executive Package
Lighting Package
19" Black Light-Alloy Wheel Double-SpokeStyle 437 M with Mixed Perf. Tires
Adaptive M Suspension
M Double-clutch Transmission with Drivelogic
Moonroof

Dealer info.
sticker price: 78,600
price after neg: 74,600
residual at 58%
39 month lease/15K
after the 7% NJ tax and .04% luxury tax in NJ, my payments would be $976.14.

Is this a good deal?

Thank you!

M4, he didn't give me any fees over the phone. I specifically asked about the residual and he said 58%. I guess I need to stop by this weekend. When I asked about the MF, he just said BMW's MF (which I don't know why he couldn't just give me the exact rate).

Looks like 58% may be right. MF should be .0013 for US delivery (with appropriate credit)

Yes, I have dealt with two (bought from the first). Both were willing to do ED invoice + $1.5K or less. Don't forget to negotiate the fees and MF as well:

BMW of Morristown (NJ)
www.bmwofmorristown.com

BMW of Reading (PA)

Good luck,

MF for April is .00130.....and is the same for 10K, 12K or 15K miles. If you're doing ED, then it is .00160. The residual % changes depending on your contract miles.
I assume by the 63% residual you placed this order in March? MF in March was .00129, or .00159 ED

Yeah, sort of odd that the dealer would mark up the MF differently based on number of miles. I know some dealers do enjoy marking up MF for some easy money (my local dealer included), but I would have expected it to be consistent across mileage. I'd hate to see how much they mark up for 15K miles!

Do you think the Enhanced USB package is worth it? I am not sure if it already comes with standard USB connection.

For the ED, what is the shipping cost back to the US look like? Was curious to see if this option is worth it.And if you could save a bit more money by doing this. I know it may balance out with cost of hotel + travel.
