I didn't get to the point I could buy a brand new m3 by taking random peoples opinions.
My best friend has a brand new ATS with a more luxurious interior. When he commented on the spartan m3 interior I just put MDM mode on and nailed it. He got it. I do not regret my choice. Mainly because I'm using mine with children and I've seen how badly the merino leather is going to age. |

Now, in a few I shall to my ritualistic dance at the idiotically named car wash trying to get even some of the marks left by kids out of my car. Wish me luck. OP just tell them you are a purist and you enjoy the car, not the crap boy racers need.

No regrets here. Haven't had any comments about the lack of leather. If I did I would probably respond that I decided to spend the budget on performance rather than luxury which is true. I would also probably jokingly add something like: "For that matter I could have bought an Escalade, huh? Gosh, maybe I bought the wrong vehicle?"
Edit: I just thought of a better way to put this: "You know what? I did test drive one with leather and it turns out it isn't any faster. I know - it surprised me too!" |

Dat Shakir Orange though
But seriously you made a smart choice, I don't own an F8x yet but plan on the carbon structure. Love the sport cloth on my E92 for all the reasons already mentioned. |

Well at least the cloth seat looks a lot nicer than it does on the e9x M's. I would only consider if I'm building a bare bone M3 but I'm most likely going to check off exec pkg so it won't save me any money by getting cloth seats. Plus I refuse to do another black interior car...
But hey it's your car and if you're happy with it that's all that matters.

Planning on ordering it for grip, wear and cost. Who cares what your passengers say; they should be happy they don't slide around as much during this twisties

Maybe you should listen to real enthusiasts that value functionality as well as form when we give you Kudos and applause for selecting the less popular manly interior.... Bravo! |

I'm willing to bet there are a fair amount of M3 owners who, today with ~2000-5000 miles on it, can see wear on their driver's bolster in SO, SS, Tan, or Black.

Not sure you're saving an entire cow...aren't the side/bottom bolsters leather? Funny cow comments anyways.
I briefly considered leather but as most commented above, want the grip plus saves some money for other options. Also they're cooler than leather. When I sit in my wife's Yukon, anything above 80 makes my back sweat like crazy. |

I think sport cloth looks cheap, I wouldn't get it. Also, who cares what other people think...most important thing is that you like it.
I tracked my car twice already and these seats hold you much better than E92. |

I really don't get the cheap comments. $70k and the car shouldn't have cloth? I guess the guy with a $280k Ferrari Scuderia got screwed because it has cloth seats?
