So I got an email from my SA today and she told me that some new colors would be offered for builds July and beyond under the individual program.

Azurit Black Metallic , Pyrit Brown Metallic, Moonstone Metallic, Tansanit Blue Metallic
Estimated price $ 2600,00 / €1950

Brilliant White $ 4455,00 / €3300

-----

As seen in the German brochure:

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=949423

And mentioned in the Canadian order guide (minus BW):

Isn't mineral white almost the same as brilliant white?

I'm doing military sales. Maybe my SA is just more in the know since she's in Germany?

yeah, I recall seeing these as the "individual lite" colors (not $5k, but $2k extra).

either way, I'm holding out for better colors. even jet black would be an improvement.

Yeah it's like lets add more junky colors. I would have definitely ordered Jet Black if available.

Moonstone is pretty cool. But no, not forking out more money for paint. There's 3 colors I can't choose from now.

I recall that thread, just SAs around me don't know anything about the M4 at all, let alone the price or availability of the paint colors as stated by the OP

I know far more about this car than anyone at my dealership, thanks to all of you!!

These were posted in the Canadian order guide http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...light=canadian back in January, less the Brilliant White. Very questionable choices, especially for the money.

Tanzanite Blue is a promising color, but it certainly isn't $2600 special. Did they raise the price of the preselected individual colors? I thought they were under $2K.

Now if they offered San Marino Blue.....

These colors are a good addition, but I also am looking forward to seeing what other individual options BMW will bring us.

The German order guide makes no mention of Brilliant White but shows Frozen Brilliant White instead (along with other Frozen colors too). Given the higher price, I wonder if this is the color the OP's source was actually referring to.

Why prices in Euro for a US dealership? We need some confirmation from BMW NA that these are actually going to be offered in the US.

I can't believe someone is waiting for jet black, I can not wait to get out of my jet black. Classy and Beautiful after a good wash, but frustratingly dirty 37 minutes after the wash.

I was thinking the same. Also, there should be frozen red, frozen black and frozen silver options along with the frozen brilliant white too. 4 normal individual colors as quoted in OP and 4 frozen colors which are likely more expensive.

None appeals to me; standard colors even worse, unbelievable! As if they listened advice from other German manufacturers when choosing colors for the M3/M4.

This is a company who had many striking colors including Interlagos and Le Mans Blue as well as the Imola Red.

After seeing what a dealer did to one of the guys by washing it after service in E90 forum. By washing his frozen car and drying it, thus making it shiny. I don't think I would do frozen. To much of a headache.

Couldn't agree more. Breathing on the paint seems to leave swirls. I'd fork over the $550 for a metallic black 1000x over.

I would have taken the Tanzanite, but I can't wait until fall to get a car. Summer in TX is fun on a motorcycle, but not every day.
