Just A Plain White 6-speed Civic Sedan

Waddup lads, I'm swagon and I wrote a short-ish story.

I remember reading the press release for the M3/4 back in December 2014 while on the way the dealership to pick up an E82 135i, wishing that one day in the future, I'd love to drive an M3. I have been active on this part of Bimmerpost ever since, lurking and spamming this place out of sheer envy...

In the meantime, the search for a new sensible daily driver has begun. The contenders were ranging from diesel 3 Series wagons to a 440i GC. Early stages of the process pictured below:

And well, last month - after a year of scrolling through classifieds and test drives - dad and I took that aforementioned 135i on a thousand-mile round trip to check out a CPO 2016 F80 M3 sight unseen. Drove it home the next day. To hell with a sensible daily, right?

Anyway, here she is. Alpine White, Carbonstructure Cloth, El Manuél.

As for my own unprofessional impressions, it is - to my surprise - a bit stiff around town even on the stock 18" wheels and passive suspension. Thought the 135i on KW's was already stiff. BTW, my ears are constantly bleeding because of the awful ASD noise and my ego takes a hit with every automatic rev-match, but otherwise, so far so good to say the least (aka I love it). Let's hope it stays that way after the warranty expires.

Would have loved imola red w/ white leather, but in the end, there's just something about a stripper that tickles my pickle...

Congrats! 6-speed and cloth seats are two of my favorite things about the car. Your ego can be soothed by using the sport+ throttle setting, of course.

Agree on the ASD; turning that off dramatically improved the experience IMO.

I know 90% of the guys on this forum love to dress their girls up all pretty with diff color combos, options n all, but at the end of the day, Strippers are just the way to go.

Thanks! I've tried plugging the ASD off, but it disabled every sound effects and even the radio as well, so I had to order an obd thingy and bimmercode.

Thank you, mate. I haven't tried any other strippers than this one yet, but so far she's been satisfying my needs pretty damn well. And she's pretty rare around here - most are loaded with fewer pedals.

By the way, got this bad boy in. Almost half the price of a new one and after some elbow grease, it's like new again. Now searching for more M Performance interior parts. I don't wanna pay the M tax so it's gonna take some time.

Maybe a boring, but surely a practical mod: installed the oem trunk floor net. It's pretty simple to DIY. Locations for the holes are marked on the other side of the floor.
