It's on the F80 coding parameter. You make angel eyes to be 100% when the headlights are on. If your question is can it go past 100%, then no.

Hey guys, just picked up the cable from the link in the OP. I followed all the install guides and waited the 48 hours. This morning I went out to try some coding but I couldn't connect. When I hit the connect button, this is the dialogue box that popped up:


The LAN connection said 169.xxx.xxxx but there's no list of vehicle types to select i.e f020, etc.

Now when I first went to select vehicle type after opening e-sys the first time after the 48 hours, I selected f080. However after re-reading these threads, I think I should have selected f020.

I've had someone else code my car a few months back but I really just want to fully code the euro LEDS and try out disabling active sound.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

@JTO24 , you select F8x in the Esys Launcher premium, and F020 in the connection target window pictured above. Check and read carefully your Esys installation instructions that you received in the same email as the link to the SW.

Thank you for the quick reply. My issue is that nothing populates in the connection target window; there is no list from which I can select F020. As you can see above, that area is just blank. I've been following the instructions I received in the email but my connection target window looks slightly different than that in the pdf.

Check your installation, worst case, reinstall Esys and the psdZ, It takes few mins. You are missing the psdZ or something else is corrupt. Check the that the dir in Esys->Options->Program is set to where the psdZ where installed, "C:\Data".

PS: in case you care, your VIN is showing in that screenshot.

Triple blinker set to 5
6NS replaces 6NH
Remove amber corner light with headlights on
Roll up/down windows/mirrors with FOB (the autocodes don't work for this. May be that i have a '16. Either way, the manual code posted did work)
I think the angel eyes are at 100% for parking but these two don't exist in my car for while the headlights are on (I assume that's what this part is for):
3062 MAPPING_STANDL_V_L_PWM_LEVEL_1=100%
3062 MAPPING_STANDL_V_R_PWM_LEVEL_1=100%
Full ambient light brightness (autocode works)
Ambient light separate from dimmer (autocode works)
Disable disclaimer and legal warnings
Disable seatbelt reminder

I also coded the unlock with engine off but haven't tried that yet. Anyway, thanks to everyone for their hard work and if anyone in San Diego is timid or needs some guidance feel free to give me a shout. Cheers!

Glad you got it to work.

If you have LED headlights, try VO coding for Euro LED. It's not as dynamic/smooth as cars from Europe, but it is anti-dazzle high-beam.

I do not have LED headlights so no anti dazzle for me unfortunately.

Confirmed that the engine off door unlock works Btw!

Looks like I missed it from the pdf file from the OP's post... Silly me.

But I would like to know, did anyone get the coding to enable the rearview camera on at all time?

I find the doc in the F30/F32 forum, but dont know if that works.

Anyone knows if the F30/F32 list will work on F80?

I dont have my car yet... so I can't try..
