GTS MDM too little assistance?

Little help here guys.

Tonight I had the GTS coding done on my stage 1 F80. The wheel slip is crazy now. It's pretty much as if traction is completely off. Before tonight it was nearly perfect. The tune somehow made the traction control just right. Way less intrusive than stock. No power cut out and the perfect amount of wheel slip.

1) Am I just being a sissy and should I just re-learn to drive it?
2) Has anyone else felt like the GTS MDM was unsafe for the streets?

UPDATE 2/11/18:
I put on my big boy pants and relearned how to handle the car with GTS MDM. So far so good. Just don't get too ballsy with cold tires.

I'm realizing that to be the case. So then will I benefit from Euro MDM as a "middle" option? Whereas I leave traction ON under normal driving. Use Euro MDM in spirited driving. And full OFF on track.

Is that how you have yours set up?

I have only driven Euro MDM and not GTS.

You know your car and comfort level best. If you feel it is stepping out too much then revert back to the old software.

The gts has cup 2 tires which are much stickier than the super sports ours come with. I'm sure the gts mdm was calibrated for those. I know it still takes wheelspin, etc. into consideration but I assume that is part of the reason why you're getting so much more wheelspin on the gts setting. Euro mdm is probably the sweet spot. Allows for a little more fun than what the car comes with but probably won't put you into a wall.

You're exactly right @Markus. I definitely need some better/wider tires to handle the extra power. I'll give Euro MDM a try and report back.

In the hands of the right driver the GTS MDM might be amazing. I just don't want to be testing my limits at freeway speeds.

It's perfect on a stock car but a stage one running presumably 500 bhp ? Not so sure.
