All the frustration really does wash away once it arrives...
In reality, the constant delays and nonsense actually made my delivery that much sweeter and more enjoyable

See.. it really wasn't that bad. 2-3 weeks once landing at the port, same as mine

If anything, you guys fearing the worst made it seem to come quicker lol

How would be curious to know how many kilometres your will have on your cars the day you take possession. I always kind of worried of that when I get a new car.

Thanks! Very excited. Only one more week for them to put on the M Performance lip and splitter and read diffuser, detail the car, tint and install xpel ultimate on front hood, fenders and bumper and then take her home. The waiting is very painful after waitng so long already.

Well i saw today it had 8 km. I doubt it will get much more after the dealership. We started it up today and they have a rev limiter on them now until they perform PDI. You cant go above 4000 rpm. I believe they had some problems with people at the port taking them for joy rides before. This solved the problem.

I would be very OK with 8km on the counter and also happy that the car is in some kind of a limp mode before delivery to the customer.

In the past I have seen cars with 80-120 km on the counter at delivery. I had a Jetta way back that had 80km on delivery... Wasn't impressed.

First grats on the car.

Second, they "said" upon delivery it should be less than 100km. When I got mine in Sept 2014, it had 18km on it.

I wouldn't be too worry about this.

On mine they said delivered with less than 50km on it

I will know very soon I guess. If everything goes well I will have it next week.

I have to travel to Calgary and Ottawa next week also... This means that if it's ready, I will have to wait until Thursday - Friday.

The always had the speed and rev limiter when shipping the car. My E92 in 2007 had the same limiter when it arrived at the dealer.
