Thanks for the pics Jason!

Any chance we could get some heads-up-display photos?

I'm only saying that because the N52 has a throttle body as a backup. That of course doesn't mean this does, but it sure has one huge opening where the butterfly would normally mount. One can only guess.

I meant N55 has a throttle body as a backup, but yes so does the N52.

Anybody know the order code for that clear paint? Planning on ordering and need to know if it is individual color or not. Thanks, you guys are the best.

So it's hard to visualize this, but that S55 somehow looks more compact to me than the N55's I've seen on stands.

It looks like all the critical parts are easy to access including the vacuum side of things, which is really critical for a turbo engine over the long run.

Forged or cast crankshaft?

The official photos also show what looks like casting marks on the counterweights. I am not familiar with how forged cranks are made, but that does look incongruous to forging, though I would expect BMW would accurately report this.

Was hoping Geneva would have cars and interiors in colours we haven't seen yet! Pics are great though and appreciated as I can't get to any of the shows.

Geneva Auto Show was absolutely incredible. Both cars looked fantastic and the Clear Construction model looked really cool. Wish I was able to get pictures like the ones above, free of people. It was an absolute madhouse by BMW, and everywhere else sort of..

You want torque quickly and throughout the range? Smaller turbochargers allow that. Bigger ones tend to make the torque much less smoothly and more peaky - personally, I like the torque more even.

M3 looks nice but that front wheel gap is very large compared to the rear...can we just get an inch lower? I know I know, industry standards etc....or perhaps a 2016 ZCP with a better stance?

who said the m4 don't got hips!

i think that wheel gap is contributing to some of the debate in regards to the m3 being more aggressive. i mean i think it is, but i think it looks more aggressive than the m4 because of the wheel gap differences

throw some coils and spacers.

i can't wait

Nice to see an emphasis on all the CFRP parts on this car - gives you an insight into the materials cost on this baby.
