Do you seriously think all that the added items from the GTS will come free on the LCI M4? BMW is here to make money and not run a charity. I really don't see why any of us GTS owners will be mad if BMW comes out with a clubsport package with parts from the GTS. BMW have always used the special models to develop new technologies with and then adapt it to regular mass production models at a later time. It almost seems like you ppl with the regular M3 and M4 just wants us to be mad about these things.

I would welcome to see BMW come out with a clubsport package for all the weekend track warriors out there.

In reality, I am just super happy to own the GTS and enjoy driving every mile of it. I am really not worried about the resale price down the road, I got the car for my driving enjoyment and pleasure.

I guess there is no way of knowing for 100%, but judging from information has already surfaced. it is likely..

Regarding to E46 and E9X M3s' headlights, here are my observations:

E46 and E9X regular 3 series coupe and convertible LCI highlights had external shape/dimension changes.
They also had front spoilers redesign, which facilitated the installation of their new LCI headlights.

Since BMW did not redesign E46 and E9X LCI M3's front spoilers, they didn't have any choice but to continue using pre-LCI headlights on them.

Judging from the LCI M4 spy photos, it appears that the external shape / dimensions of the LCI headlights are not different from their pre-LCI counterparts. this is why most ppl believe BMW is able to / will have the LCI headlights installed for the MY2017 M4.

Agree 100 percent. This looks like a Clubsports or CS.. There will be a time "when M4 GTS Owners be pissed" but i don't think it's going to be anytime soon.

As a retired Bmw NA employee this is done for the fact that the "public" cannot see what manufacturer has under wraps. As most know other panels get modified and covered based on new model designations and platforms.

Long story short this is to protect Bmw legally from someone saying "saw a new m3 today saw the roundels"

Funny the front driver side rim was a blacked out 19". Curious side of me wonders whats up with that lol. I hope some of this stuff finds its way to the F80. Still haven't seen a OLED tail lamps for the sedans for example.
