Meet/drive to Goodwood Breakfast Club - Soft Top Sunday 4th June

Anyone fancy an early morning meet/jaunt to Goodwood circuit for next Breakfast Club Meet ?

I prefer to head down early to make the must of the route [a24 -> a29 -> a272 then a285] as it's a belter, if traffic-free.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Ha...9426!3e0?hl=en

If folks want to convoy, I will be travelling down early so can meet at Hampton Court train station depart 6.15am

Suggest 2 further meeting points en route to Goodwood:-

First - Denbies Vineyard, Bradley Lane [off London Road Dorking] RH5 6AA depart 640am http://www.denbies.co.uk/finding-us/

Second - Billy's on the Road - A29 just North of Billingshurst - RH14 9AE for 7am ish http://www.billysontheroad.co.uk/

I went this Sunday for the Supercar one.....

Took me an hour to do the last 1.5 miles....

That was getting there about half past eight.......

Might go for this one as well......

Too far south for me but looks a great route through the South Downs. Enjoy

The exact reason I stay in Gatwick each year we go to FOS we take back road in always been clear in by Horse race course, as I don't do traffic jams very well

Well it did give the amateur photographers the opportunity to get some snaps of my car

Derek,

suggest staying nearer Petersfield or on A3 between Guildford/P'field.

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/dir/Pe...d50.859426!3e0

Route SE from P'field to Goodwood is easy re traffic even on event days.....

The last couple of times I have left it to late for anything other than Gatwick as book up , been in Petersfield twice my wife used to buy stuff from a business there so visited them, liked it there, good to know roads quite on that direction as well.
Been to FOS 7 times with son only once got caught in traffic jam 2015 it was, missed last year as was on holiday

Dave, I may be up for this. Would meet somewhere en-route though, and I am in London the night before so may not make the early start. And then there is my noisy swivel bearing issue...

I have booked two tickets though. Will text you near the time.

Ok - I will be down in Goodwood by 730am so depending on when you leave London we can meet en route or at GW
