Hey all, at 51k miles I did spark plugs and coils while also doing intakes, chargepipes, downpipes and a stage 2 tune. After 250 miles i do a pull and the car had a cylinder 4 misfire. Changed spark plug and coil and was good to go. Now a few months later I’m at 54k and do a light pull while the car was a little cold and now I have a cylinder 3 misfire. Plugs are gapped, car has bms elite intakes and does sometimes idle rough.
Is it as simple as a fouled plug or the notorious intake or dirty maf? I’ve also been struggling to get my obd monitors ready but that may just be from the tune. Any help is greatly appreciated! |

I think you get the rough idle from the mass air flow sensor on the aftermarket intakes so you may want to check them and make sure they are in the correct position.

Would the rough idle over time lead to the misfire? Even after I clear codes the misfire stays.
