I’m gonna be different and say I’m not a fan, oem or aftermarket it just looks a bit wierd to me!

Don't even need to tape around the trim, I just pried the unit out with two old credit cards and it popped out no problem. Easy 5 minute job and I'm an absolute disaster with anything DIY.
Will divide opinion but I like it, definitely looks better in person at-a-glance than it does being the focal point of a picture. |

very true - it was OTT that tape!
Your picture is better. Not only because it is the right way round but it better captures the red colour. Mine looked a bit orange, which it is not.

That became standard on the CP from week 10 as did the tri-coloured stitching in the seat belts - oh and the hand brake gator changed from Merino leather to some man made stuff all at the same time

Fitted mine tonight, absolute doddle.
And your all right the tape was OTT, popped the housing out with Shell petrol card!
