I'm on the factory 18s with stock suspension. Do you think 15mm in the front would be too much from an aesthetic standpoint? Too much poke I know will exaggerate the 4x4 look. Maybe 12 in front would be better?

This question is for the EAS reps (or anyone else that has seen or driven on multiple setups).

What is the logic of going with either of the following options with a ZCP on stock suspension:

1) 12F/10R
2) 10F/12R

You (EAS) seem to be recommending Option 1. Does option 1 minimize understeer compared to the OEM setup since the stagger delta between front and rear is essentially made a bit smaller? Does Option 2 make a noticeable difference in understeer since the stagger is essentially made a bit larger?

The 15mm front and 12mm is a safe option for you without sticking out too far. 12mm all around will also work for you. IMO the front looks better with the larger spacer.

We normally go wider up front because the front track isnt as wide. Either 12/10 or 10/10 will work, it just comes down to preference then. The 2mm difference is prettty small when you go 12/10, I dont think you would notice any understeer.

I just got a 2017 m3 with 20s and i am going to keep the stock suspension. I am planning on putting H&R 12mm just for the back wheels; do you guys think it will look bad ?

I think it would look unbalanced without the front spacers. Front wheels would still be tucked in while the rears would be sitting flush.

I would put the 12mm front and do a 10mm rear. On the 666m wheels a 15mm is a little bit too big.

Hey Kevin-
Any experience with a 265/285 RE-11 or RE-71 setup on the stock 437s lowered on MS springs? I currently have a 15F/12R spacer setup.... Maybe swap out the 15mm up front for 10mm? Sounds like it'll fit out back? Or maybe 10mm all around?

We have done that setup twice before with the RE 11's before but none of them had spacers. Going off memory I would say a 10mm front and a 5mm rear would work.

I have the exact same setup as you do. Last friday I installed 265/285 RE-11 combo on stock 19's and they DO rub with 15F/12R MS spacers and MS springs.

I have only driven it with the new set of tires about 15 miles or so. They rub on highway dips and parking garages (for example when going down and weight is being pushed down). I am thinking of going with 5F/3R spacers but I not sure yet as I want to get Kevin or Tom's input.

Does going with 5F/3R spacer set up on 265/285 RE-11 be somewhat similar to 15F/12R on 255/275 Conti? Or am I just wanting to make sense?

I actually ended up doing 10mm front and 13mm in the back and I really like the look.

Advice needed. I just installed the new M Performance Suspension Sleeve Kit (set to BMW spec not slammed, so around 1" lower at back and 1.2" at front - roughly) on my 2015 Non CP M4 with EDC (Active suspension) and full M Perf body kit parts and MPE. Car is stock otherwise.

I run 437M with 285/35 and 265/35 MPSC2 19" for track, with nearly -2.0 camber on rear from the stock camber adjustment.

Question is, what spacer size and brand, and track bolts size and brand are best for fairly regular track use?

Regulations require that the top of my tyres sit within the guard and don't protrude outwards.

Obviously strength, durabity and a quality product are crucial due to track use.

My feeling is 10mm all round but keen to hear thoughts. "Hella flush" isn't important, driving dynamics are key...

Rears doenst sound like you can fit a spacer. Fronts I am thinking a 10mm max or a 5mm if you want to go conservative.

We have had a few people go +1 on the tires with the Bridgestone RE-11's/ they ended up using a 12mm front and a 10mm rear. Also 10mm all around would suffice as well.

Hey guys, I appreciate this thread! Im running the stock 18s (437m) with Oem Tires 255/275. I will be installing coils and camber plates this week. With 2.5 to 3 degrees of camber upfront could I run 25mm up front and 18mm in back?
