The xenon and LED lights both have the same corona in LED, the only part thats different between the two is the center light on is LED and one is XENON...I have had LED's on my current car and previous they don't light "so much better" at night. Its nearly identical to my eye...I would not personally spend almost 2k for them as a stand alone option...No way just my opinion

Thanks, makes my decision easier. LED headlights all the way!!
I think you'll really be sold when you see the difference with them on at night
I thought there was no difference in visibility?
There isn't!

Interesting observation from an owners perspective.

I don't see what BMW's hold up is in just making all their cars all have LED headlights. The LED setup must be cheeper than xenon (no projector, less components, etc). I guess they want to rape the early adopters. I think LED will be the future "base" headlight and Laser the "upgrade" like halogen and xenon are now.

Agreed! Anybody that suggests otherwise is affected by placebo. There is literally no difference in terms of light output/pattern. Get LED's because you want the tech, not because of some false sense of superior light quality. BMW's Xenons are very, very good.

P.S. That M4 looks great in black.

I agree completely...I promise for all those that think its so much different and looks better it doesnt. At night its just a blob of light and during the day since they both have LED daytime running lights looks same

Damn that M4 looks good in black!
First pics I've noticed of the Extended Leather option in the M3 as opposed to the Full Leather option (like the M4 has in this post).

To me, the M4's front & rear end looks better than the M3's.

Yes, next gen M3 we will pay extra for laser lights.

Is there a global shortage of ink ?? Unlesss there is , BMW please give us more colours quickly.
I personally need a long time (3 months at least) before it really grows inside me and say , this is the right colour.

Awesome pics. The sedan would look sexy in black with red interior.

Single aftercooler heat exchanger?

How do the dimensions compare to the M5/6 aftercoolers?

I hope it's not the same part as the M5/6 with only one heat exchanger rather than 2.

Aesthetically it does not look like the Coronas are the same for the LED and the Xenon lights. That is not to say that they don't both use LED as the light source for the Coronas just that they don't look identical.

Here are some pics from UCLA95, you can see that the light guides on the Full LEDs are deeper than on the Xenon:
