Things your neighbors say about your car

Ever since then I throw my car into 2nd gear right as I pass his front door. Get used to it bc it ain't getting any quieter buddy. AND I always warm up my car for 5-7 mins to check my morning social media/emails.

I own a 2014 435i and 2018 M4 ZCP and when I bought the M4 ZCP, a few people in my building said "Oh wow that's a nice loaner BMW gave you"

Also took one of my neighbors for a ride in my M4 and the guy asked "is your exhaust broken?"

Regarding the sound comments...Interestingly enough, my neighbor has an M4. Funny part is that his wife's car has a deeper exhaust tone 6.3 liter AMG benz, haha.

I always enjoy listening to their cars. I wish more of my neighbors had nice cars. I guess that is what sucks about living in a poor neighborhood - people aren't driving nice cars with great sounding exhaust besides previously mentioned neighbor.

State trooper down the street - "There's no way that exhaust is stock, is there? That thing is LOUD." Meanwhile he's got some old V8 that shakes the earth. This aside, I don't think I have much issue with noise. I wait until I'm off my street to open the valves out of respect. I think my neighbor's leaking nissan sentra exhaust is more disruptive than mine on cold start and nobody says anything to her.

Immediate Neighbor - "Wow you must be doing really well"

Others - You could probably have a pretty big money maker here the way you wash your car. When do you want to do mine?

Otherwise, I don't receive many comments on the car at all. Maybe Silverstone is a little less obvious, I don't know. I prefer it this way.

My next door neighbor has a V6 Challenger with Magnaflow exhaust. She remote starts it at 6am every morning! winter or summer. If we didn't sleep with our bedroom door closed, on the opposite side of the house with a window air conditioner in the bedroom, it would be very annoying. It annoys our guests when we have them.
