Its funny to see this thread. I imagine my neighbors are hating me, as is my son, when I leave in the morning. I can't imagine what a full exhaust set up will do to make me the black sheep of the neighborhood. My stock exhaust valves are fully open and its loud as shiz in the morning haha

Has anyone found a good solution for the cold start delete? I'm debating on the Macht Schnell EVC, but want to confirm that this helps before dropping 5 buckaroos for valve control.

I have the BMS version arriving today - $279 and free shipping from Top Gear Solutions.

You can unplug the valves if you want to, but I wanted a way to switch them in and out - sometimes I want to silence the car when I have certain people in it, but other times I want the noise for my enjoyment.

I see a lot of bad neighbors in this thread. If somebody has their windows closed and they can hear and feel your car start up in your garage everytime, your exhaust is too loud. I like a good exhaust note as much as the next enthusiast but some of you guys are really coming off as self absorbed douches.

i had this when parked outside the kebab shop the other day picking up a greasy snack..
the owner said nice car, how much did it cost (with a disaproving tone in his voice).
Me: "£75K" feeling a little awkward.
kebab man: "fuck me - you could buy a house for that"
Me: "ive already got a house"
kebab man: "you could buy a bigger one"
Me: "I dont need a bigger one mines big enough and i like my cars" - trying to diffuse the increasingly annoying conversation
Kebab man: "you got no kids then?"
me: "yes 2 and a wife"
kebab man: "Kids wont fit in that"
me: "thats why i bought an X5 at the same time"
Kebab man: "fucking hell how much was that?"
me: "£65K"
Kebab man: "but you lease them both yes?"
Me: (getting more and more annoyed by the interrogation) - No i bought them both cash, fuck it its only money and you cant take it with you can you? lifes for enjoying thats my philosophy, thanks for the kebab, bye..

I then take my kebab back to my financed M4 and drive home to my wife, kids and leased X5.

My wife was SUPER supportive of the M3 purchase, but your conversation reminds me of one a co-worker recited to me:

Husband: let's go out for a steak
Wife: that'll be $200 when we're done
Husband: yes
Wife: that's $200 we could use for groceries (or whatever it was...)

im in a quandry over kebab shops now, the other one is closer and i like an excuse to go for a drive hence going to the furthest one. oh well im sure ill come across another if i drive another 10 miles or so, can always heat it up when i get home lol.

And I wish it was $60k how come these bloody cars are so much cheaper in the states. Germany is only a few miles from the uk and they cost so much more. That's not even with full leather or IND paint. Although I did get a bit over zealous with the mperformance options I have to admit.
