Can I go both ways? I think the LL is only close to valid for the same year. But in the desert of hard data on this subject anything is good.

The GTS can still be home on a highway ...... If BMW really chose a side and gave it Enough rubber that would be the true test here |

I would argue the GT350R would be more at home on the road than the GTS. Especially with the magnetic ride. The GTS is 100% a track car first and foremost. My good friend daily drives his GT4. I don't see anyone daily driving their GTS, you would hit the splitter on everything. Last edited by DieGrüneHölle; 09-20-2016 at 04:28 PM.. |

The fact your are trying to argue that a car that comes with analog race spec coilovers is more suited for road use than a car with Magneride or PASM is comical at best. Last edited by DieGrüneHölle; 09-21-2016 at 10:52 AM.. |

Agreed both my GT4 and GT350 have very comfortable street rides, more so then my old M4, in their softest (by pressing a button) settings. The biggest issue on the GT4 is it has a long front overhang, so luckily the front lip is a $300 part. I haven't driven a GTS yet but with a half cage and 3 ways can't imagine it rides better on the street.

The GT350R rides way better than the GT4 or M4/GTS due to its magnaride suspension. MPSC2s on the 350R arent all that bad in the wet. They are not as aggressive or scary in the wet as the MPSC2s used on the Z06. It's very similar to a GT3 in regards to useability of its tires.

The in-car videos of each car's fastest lap is on their Youtube channel. Each journalist had a handful of cars to drive to set the 'official' times. So it's still useless when you use multiple drivers of greatly varying experience and ability levels. |
