Congrats! Brings back memories of my 2012 M5 ED, we had a very similar route. Perfect for an ///M car!

Super jealous, sounds like an amazing time, especially if you have a significant other or girlfriend to take along for the ride. Had to make you feel like a bag of money!

Boosted Terp, the 4th picture looks like your kind of afraid to put your weight on the new beast. LOL. Congratulations

It does actually! The car also shows you when it thinks you can upshift into the next gear right there with a little indicator of what gear you can use. I found it to be a bit overly optimistic at times, especially when going up a steep hill and seeing it recommend 6th gear at a speed that would have put the car at 1000 rpm or so. It's a nice feature that sort of makes things idiot proof.

I don't have too many more pictures of the car unfortunately...I do have more of Como and a few of Monaco, which was an awesome destination. Enjoy!

They kept trying to get me to lean and put my weight on the car at the Welt for the photo, and I was having none of it haha

That "feature" is to help you optimize your mpg, that's why it recommends you upshift much earlier than anyone really would. I had that "coded" into my 2011 335

I did ED for my E92 too. What an awesome trip you had. If you give me a ride in that thing I can give a ride next time I take the rover off roading.

great pics, but black doesn't show lines at all, in that first shot it looks like an m sport 3 series ( and it costs almost like two 3 series , i feel like this car needs an m color that says i am an M car

Congratulations on a great car!

The pictures are beautiful!

Do I pass by the Hotel de Paris in Monaco?

It is highly recommended is the best there is in Monaco.
I've visited and is the most elegant and great places in the area. I have visited a few times and come to stay for a week.

I checked it out when we went into Casino Square, it's incredible...unfortunately I didn't stay there for a night. Next time

Great write up OP, thank you. How do you like the contrast of the CF roof with the black color? I've been debating CF roof with black, vs moonroof. Worried the lighter gray shades of CF roof may look funny sometimes on black...or it may look awesome, not sure...are you happy with it?

I love it...pics don't really do it justice, you can definitely tell it's a different shade of black. I did enjoy my moonroof on my previous 1 series too, so if you really want that option I don't think you can go wrong. If it were me, I'd do the CF roof every time!

Gorgeous Car Dude, and awesome pictures! Just wanted to know how you would rate the brakes? Would you recommend to go with the standard option brakes or go all the way for the Ceramic brakes?

The standard brakes are outstanding. IMO, unless you're going to be a serious track fiend with this car, they're more than good enough for anything you'll encounter. It's nice that BMW offers the option for CCB's, but when I considered the price and how often I'd really get the extra benefit of them, it made my choice easier.
