Did you get an offer from BMW for a free one-day car control school?

I got one and used the offer as 1/2 price credit to sign up for 1-day M School.

Based on the timing of the emails, I'd guess that BMW USA sends them 3-4 months after you buy a new BMW, and the specifics of the offer depend on how many BMWs (and probably which BMWs) you've purchased previously.

Car Control School is definitely not the same thing as M School.

M School is twice the price. But you can use the credit from the Car Control School email towards an M School.

Nice, I bought 5 BMWs and two of them were Ms over the last 4 years and nothing. All of them were leased/financed through BMWFS as well.

I'm sure there are many people like me that have purchased many BMWs and probably more than me, but still receive no offers like these. It would be very interesting to see how they decide who they send them to.

FWIW, if you buy any Ford Performance vehicle you get a free full track/school day and usually an option to pay for the second day as well. Even if you just buy a Fiesta ST.

Definitely not something anybody can use. When you email back/call they tell you that they need to "confirm" and then a couple of days later you will get an email saying that they have confirmed you with dates to select from etc. Don't think that would go well if you passed the code on to someone else.

Dang, all I got was a 2GB flash drive when I bought my M3 last year (have a 328 lease from 2 years ago too). Who do I call up to trade that in for this car control class!?

Yes. I think the email actually says you can do that at the bottom.

When they call you back after verifying that you're eligible, just tell them that's what you'd like to do.

They'll ask for a credit card number for the balance.

I received the offer on August 31. I purchased five new BMWs with the most recent one April 2016 which I financed through them. I don't exactly know if I will do the free car control or add the value towards M school. Either way it's a nice gesture.
