Hello everyone,
I am new to the forums (been reading the forums less than a year) i plan on purchasing a M3...I would like some info on a Rep ED in Chicago.

Keep in mind mod closed down the previous 500 over thread (probably because he is not a sponsor) just dont want you to get banned for trying to help people out.

Interesting. I didn't know that it was improper to talk about the deals we got. In all fairness, I never posted his info, just if people wanted his info to PM me. If this is a somehow wrong, than I apologize and will stop.

Dont take my word for it, ping a mod. I did not think it was an issue either but that was a pretty long and persistent thread and then it got closed which made me wonder.

Sorry OP we kinda hijacked your thread. I don't know and have not heard of any in Chicago. Realistically you should try your neighboring states as well to see what deals could be had.

Good point. Sorry too OP. I am from up that way and had decent luck with Elmhurst BMW. It has been a while, though.

Elmhurst was willing to do about $1500-$2000 off MSRP a couple months ago. I didn't use them cause they kept listing sold cars on cars.com for weeks on end and felt that was shady. However lately every Chicago dealer I've spoken to thinks the M3 is a Lamborghini.

That is a lot worse then they used to do. It used to be very difficult to find quality dealers in Chicago. I never purchased from Fields, but they were always cordial to me.

You are trying to get a car at ED Invoice? That is unlikely, did you mean ED Invoice +$1000? Then apply the anniversary credit to get you to ED Invoice?

This is not realistic. It's admirable that you're making the attempt, but not realistic....

There was a forum member (he's no longer on the site) a year ago that managed to wrangle an invoice deal (not an ED invoice deal, however) and did put up all the documentation to prove it. And in his case he had strong ties to the owner of the dealership. He was the only one that I have seen to actually get invoice, although admittedly, I haven't been scouring the "deals" thread.

I have not heard of anyone getting true ED Invoice. At all. I think in order for that, you're going to have to have a "hook" of ginormous proportions

Additionally the likelihood that any deals like that occurring at the beginning of a new MY are very slim.

For sure I meant the price around ED invoice. A couple of dealers are asking for the US MSRP, even for the 2015 model...

You should try and connect FeckinSpaceman and this dealer up if they truly have 15 allocations. He is the one with the "dud" thread on the general page. Maybe this dealer can help him get into a car quickly...

Well you are not going to get ED invoice or anywhere near it without actually doing an ED. You do realize that?

Also its unlikely there are many allocations left for model 15 since 16SOP is July.
