Yes, right away and I am tracking two cars and it was the same for both. You are putting it in the production section and not the VIN right?

Has you CA emailed you the letter that has the production number or did he just email it to you?

Yes in the production number section (on the right). My CA emailed me the letter that has the production number. When I called the 800 number, the rep told me I'm week 28 and that my build starts July 6th.

My CA tells me my car will start production in 2 weeks

I'm uber confused at this point
Based on RowanBuds post here: http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1067165 It looks like the week they provide is the estimated week of completion.

That does seem a bit odd though since the general consensus is 16's aren't starting production till mid July but a number of us have been told week 27 which would have our 16's finishing production at the beginning of July. Confusing...

Keep in mind the M4 has no production changes, so if for some reason they complete the needed allocations they can begin on others. They also may bump up some folks to make sure ED is completed on time.

IMO the MID July timeframe is on the M3.

Yah that could make sense. I guess that would confirm the M4 isn't getting the interior/nav updates.

Also, keep in mind if you have a BMWFS account that you added into your MYBMW account you LOSE the ability to track online.

I was tracking my car via the website all the way up until production ended, but the moment all my financial paperwork was signed and went to BMWFS, I logged in and added my BMWFS account to the website (for ease of payment, ect ect) I was no longer able to track via the site. You can continue to track via the 800 number, however.

They view the moment you have your financing complete that your car has been "delivered".

Not sure if that applies to anyone here or not, but that would be a reason why you cannot track your car online, even if you have a production number.

One of each. I have an ED M3 scheduled for July 7th and if I time it correctly I will fly back to Atlanta to pick up an X1 I got for my mom. It already finished production and should be getting on a ship any time now - it needs to go to Miami.
