Has anyone leased a BARE BONES / NO OPTION M3 or M4???
Just looking to get some feedback. I visit and read up on here all day long and look at random deals.
I see a lot of $700-$900 lease payments for high MSRP cars but I haven't seen a single post about someone ordering a bare bones M and what that lease price would look like. From my initial calculations that lease payment should be around the very low $600 range. I ask because I also tinker with the idea of getting an M3 and have it be a 6spd with no options...instead of waiting for the M2... Just looking to see if anyone here has ordered one and what that lease situation looks like. |

The monthly price will depend on lease rates as well as mileage, MSDs, taxes, and the original negotiated cap cost.
For example, I decided to maximize my MSD option, and assuming lease rates are similar in July (65% residual/.00129 MF for 10,000 miles 36 months), my monthly payment is around $660 per month. Now this is a vehicle with all three packages, DCT, and M adaptive suspension. If you can negotiate near invoice + maximize MSDs AND the rates BMW gives out in July is the same as the numbers for June, you can easily get that monthly price down to the low 600s/high 500s.

Yep...that's the math I've gotten with all my scenarios. The M3's lease well and I'd be looking at a 63%-65% residual. In FL the tax is 6.5% so it's average... I've run the numbers many times lol I'd honest go bare bones or just throw on leather - I would opt out of everything else like Navi or Adaptive Suspension. |

I have a deal on a car with US MSRP 70K, Ed invoice/dealer profit and grad incentive making the out-the-door price 62K.
With 1K cap cost reduction + 7 MSDs it's about 5500 due at signing. 7% tax. 594/ month. Assumptions: 65% residual, 10K mile lease for 3 years, all registration dealer and doc fees included. M3 Build: Sakhir Orange Paint Full Silverstone leather Adaptive M suspension 19" Wheels 6 speed manual If you got a basic car without Adaptive M, 19" wheels, and full leather the price of the car would go down by around 5,400. Probably low 500 lease then assuming the deal above.
