G30 headlight retrofit

Hello! I just got myself a 2018 BMW 520i G30 and have encountered some issues when retrofitting the headlight from 5A2 (no HBA) to 552.

I picked up a used set of 522 headlights and had my mechanic attempt the retrofit. He did the coding, but we ran into an open-circuit fault, which really puzzled him https://xender.vip/. He’s done a lot of retrofits, but this problem has him stumped, and it was his first time seeing such fault.

Has anyone else encountered something like this, or know what might be causing it? Any tips or suggestions would be super helpful. Thanks in advance!

Probably lights just faulty.
