idrive 6.0 already came on MY16 built from 06/16.

Not entirely true, mine is an 08/16 build and is not iDrive 6.0

Unless I am mistaken coding idrive 6 light makes you lose navigation and online services?

You can flip back and fourth as you want between 5 and 6 lite. It's a single parameter change.

Yes all online services etc work when on 6 lite and when you flip back to 5.

Go have a read in the coding sub forum.

idrive 5 came with gesture controls. We got idrive 5 minus the gesture controls in MY17

Change it to 6_light for the tile look and feel.
