To everybody that has snatched a Norev ZCP: If you check it out, how do you think are the chances to strip it down to spray it yourself? Wheels too ... i won't get one in my color (SRB) with black 666s so i'd like to do one myself if possible without destroying it.

I have one. Wheels appear to be plastic, so stripping might compromise them, but you might be able to just airbrush over it since you want black. Anything diecast can be stripped and repainted. The difficulty is getting all the plastic parts off like the headlights, trim, tailights etc. Someone on here does them, so it is possible. You would have to make your own decals from waterslides, but that shouldn't be too hard if you can scan the original ones in and just touch them up. You could also reuse the decals if you can salvage them. Do you have experience in painting? If not get a lot of Klean Strip so you can start over when you mess up! The tolerances are also tight with the opening features of the model (doors, truck etc), so you can't get too thick and it would be best to disassemble those parts.

FWIW to those considering, the NOREV F80 ZCP is well worth it. I caved and also got the GT Spirit F82 M Performance one too, but rank the NOREV as a no-brainer to get....

I think “GT Spirit”/Kyosho was the only company that offered that. It’s hard to come by online and when they do th pricing isn’t that friendly.

Love my norev m3 zcp mineral gray diecast! I want to take it out of the box, but I'd go nuts tryin to keep it dust free.

I'm so crazy I bought 2! I've come to terms with the fact I don't need both. PM if you're interested in a BNIB norev version.

Very slick! Can you leave it "on" so it can turn off and on with a wall switch connected outlet?

It has a USB type C connector that can be used for power instead of the batteries, so if you have a switchable plug and a cable you could.
