I would say maybe a 4 or 5. Not the end of the world but not something you want to do all the time. I have done the same thing when switching modes and no issues so far..... I'm sure your car is fine!!

Your clutch probably took the brunt of the force.

It's probably scale 1? It's like the difference between light brake and hard brake as long as it's not money shift. I assume u only did this in low RPM.

Yea low RPM I think around 2k maybe. Just slowing down for a turn at normal daily driving speeds.

I did this on Nurburgring last fall and almost crashed my car. Had no idea Sport+ didn't have revmatch. Ever since then, I have never driven on any setting other than Sport+ again and simply use heel & toe.

I'm assuming this upset the balance of the car quite a bit.

I'm now keeping Sport+ off my M1/M2 buttons for the exact opposite reason. I've already gotten lazy and becoming dependent on auto rev match.

Yeah I was going downhill into a turn. Car went sideways a bit.

Problem with the other modes is the car is so quiet.

Why are you dropping the clutch anyway? Are you talking about a side-step or a fast release?

It shouldn't hurt the car as long as you weren't at red-line or something.

With auto rev match on you can just dump the clutch (fast release) on downshifts and it engages seamlessly.

I probably spend a ton of incremental $$$ on gas because I only drive in Sport + (even in bumper to bumper New York City traffic). If i drive in Sport or Efficient, the rev matching continues for dozens of miles after I go back into Sport + for whatever reason and I just cant stand the unpredictability.

To the OP's point, I have accidentally clutch dumped on many occasions for a few reasons. My clutch was inspected by my technician prior to tuning (if there were issues I wanted them addressed before modding the engine software) and after 24k miles there were zero issues with the clutch.
