I have had the CS orbit grey wheels on since last October and love them.

Better ride quality due to 19 inch front

Around 7 kg lighter than my orginal 666 which I tell colleagues is worth at least 40 seconds around the ring!

So easy to clean too.

To the point where I’m looking for a second set maybe even frozen gold!

Question is, would fitting the carbon bonnet be a step too far? Almost like becoming a wannabe CS?

I love the CS apart from its rear spoiler and no armrest!

So you’re saying I should get this one AND a new watch! lol

Same, and I only appreciated how damn heavy those 666 are when I removed them. Holy crap they weigh a tonne!!

I wouldn’t worry about being a CS wannabe. The CS had some of the most desirable parts available. I’ll end up with the bonnet for sure it’s just a matter of time. I’m still reeling from my CCB retrofit.

I understand. I’d only get an oem CF good, too!

Definitely not a CS wannabe because it was originally made for the GTS! So the CS would be a GTS wannabe, too!

That’s so funny you say that. I’ve been day dreaming of Ccb kit for last two years!

Some people have said they are too expensive if they get chipped and scary in heavy rain.

I got lucky and found the 2nh kit but with Siena gold calipers. Only 6000km on them.

400 mm steel fronts. 380mm rears.

But Jesus they are mega heavy.

From 666 on blue brakes to 763 on 2nh I think I’m 8 kg heavier!

I don’t track the car though and they are smooth at high speeds.

Only issue I have is they don’t give that reassuring initial bite.

I think I’ll bring them back to garage that fitted and get abs modules bled and then normal bleed again.

Brake dust off them is depressing

Which means I’m still think of CCb!

How do you find them on the road?

They are fantastic. I wouldn’t reccomend them as track brakes but as fast road brakes and as someone with extreme OCD the lack of dust is wonderful. Also they are just pure sexy as hell.

I had a CS with them on from new for 10k miles and they were amazing, no noises and no issues at all.

I hardly drive my current M4, just 268 miles since last August but I stand by my sentiments that the ceramics, with 763’s, cup2 and MP Has is the best combination I’ve ever driven. Dare I say it, as nice as my previous CS.

Fast road brakes with no brake dust is exactly what I want.

Recent upgrade to 10.25 inch screen and Renn phone mount has breathed new life in to my 60k miles 2018 F82.

I could easily do another 60k miles in it.

If I could get the CCB kit for €10k and get back over €3k for 2nh kit I can begin to justify it

Budget cuts! Kids secondary school fees…lol!

Really will try to find a retrofit kit now!

Why not look at the suvneer aluminum gts hood? Seems to get good reviews on fitment, is way lighter than the stock hood and 1/10th the price of OEM cf. I could care less about being a knock off and would put the difference to real aero.
