Unfortunately I think the F30 is a quite boring and ordinary looking car. These two are better but I can't shake the feeling that it's not enough to make them become really cool head turners. I need to see the M3 in real life, I'm sure it looks much more eye catching. At a BMW dealer any M car will immediately catch your eye and they look special, I hope the F80 will do the same.

Would love either or both of those.
Why the alpina wheel bashing? Most of the moaning on this forum is about not sticking to the good old days and just about everything that's changed since the E30 M3... So Alpina keep a tradition and everyone rips the piss... You people don't know what you want |

I don't mind them at all. They look like jet engine fans and create a nice visual when in motion. It's iconic and I think that it goes along well with their "sleek, discreet and fast" design principles.

The photographer took many photos but why none from the front? It appears there's sufficent room and one can run quickly to the front for at least one shot.

The new M3 looks amazing and you get 4 doors. I wouldn't be surprised if M3 sells more than M4.
I have always disliked the Alpina wheels. Even way back. |

Is it me or do the rear tires on the M3 look kind of skinny compared to E9x M3?

The aggressively stretched fenders look really good on F30 body. Looking forward to seeing the M3 when it comes out.

Hate to admit it... but it's a toss-up for me. The Alpina is beautiful and I actually love those wheels! The stance looks great and with x-drive that's a killer all-year vehicle.
The M3 always has my heart, though.
