Heard M4 for the first time today

I love my M4... but sorry it sounds like it has a bad case of indigestion and farts a lot too.. I've had the V8 E92 M3 before and it sounded sooooo much better!

I heard one in 2015, at the time i told my self that im replacing my RS3 with one but i held off to hearing it again until i get my own car

F8x sounds more Motorsport. Superior engine too.

I just did the 1 day M school (which has all ZCP cars) and I thought the M3/M4 sounded decent. Nothing to complain about at all. The M2 still sounded a bit better and louder than even the ZCP cars from inside, but I would still want the S55 engine.

None of the turbo cars sound as good as the NA cars from any manufacturer, so the comparison is pointless. Be thankful the F8x still has 6 cylinders.

The S55 does sound more angry than the N55 in the M2 though. I would describe it more like angry lawn equipment (S55) vs a sonorous vacuum cleaner (N55)

Angry lawn equipment. This is the ONLY thing holding me back from buying this car. Looks like I'll have to bite the bullet if what they're saying about the next gen is true. Auto and AWD? No thanks.

i wasnt impressed the first time i heard my M4...it sounded..."ok'...sounds better in Sport.

The CP sounds much better stock.

After 20k km, i installed the AA midpipe...now my M4 sounds great.
