At that moment in the video he had passed Johan Zarco to take over 1st place, ran late into his braking point in turn one and lost the front. He saved it on his knee, ran wide into the gravel but kept the bike upright and re-entered the track in 5th place.
If you haven't rode a motorcycle on track or at all you can't imagine how impossible this is. Having raced bikes it's just an accomplishment to get your knee down properly in a turn. He (and other motogp riders) regularly gets their elbow down!!
Oh and sliding the rear around the turn!

While I agree with you on some of your post, getting a knee down is not hard. I have done it plenty on the street even. It's about body positioning as much as speed. On a track though, knee down is nearly every sweeping corner. Elbow down wasn't common until Lorenzo. Now the tires have made big improvements a lot of riders are starting to.
I got my elbow down once... Followed by my shoulder, followed by a guardrail. lol
