1 quick question...

does the driver seat have the leg extender? The E92 extends under the thighs for more support for the tall guys. It doesn't seem like the new seats offer it. Thanks, and congrats on the new ride.

I considered it and decided no as well. It does look good. Probably my next choice after the SS I ended up with. Just a little dark for me, which means road spray etc. shows up easily.

Yeah if BMW offered the car in a color that doesn't look hideous it would be nice. I'd have to go with MG at this point myself.

took a few pics in the dark to show off the light up badges in the seats.. the LED headlights, and the illumination of the center counsel .
Night all.

I personally love how the car looks in Mineral Gray... Funny I told myself I wouldn't have another gray car...

OP the car looks very classy in this color. You can't go wrong with classy.

AW is most sport-like and black is always cool.

The blue's clues blue, metallic bile fluid, burnt shrimp orange or whatever frozen color may be cool with many, but they don't have a lot of class. A 70k plus car should at least look expensive, and MG does. Congratulations on a sharp looking car.

Any new pics will be welcome.

Thanks for sharing the pix! The led lighting is interesting and the video with the dash features is really cool. Looking forward to reading the full writeup.

I wonder though, why make the key fob any larger? I like the size it is now; fits just right in the pocket. Seems like the trim on the new one is simply for aesthetics and really doesn't need to be there which would reduce the size. Would be nice to know why...

My local dealer got one for display. The exhaust sound was all rattle noise and i am not impress with the sound at all and it's not even close to Ferrari sound. Only thing I liked is the interior

Congratulations on the new acquisition. I am totally eyeing the M3 for its agility and promised performance. My wife would also not mind me downscaling on cost. But now that I see your quote, I am really set back. That is exactly how much I was paying for my 2013 F10 M5 with 36m and 12k a year. How can that be with a sticker of 108k? What am I missing? Residuals? Just no crazy deals out there because the F8x is so brand new?

Educate me, everybody, please.

And then again: Congratulations on this cool ride! Very much looking forward to more pics and drive review.

I wonder how the shift knob feels. I'm not happy they opted for the plastic ball over the leather wrapped knob. Not only does it look cheap it will suck to clean. The new gear shifters feel very flimsy, but not sure of the M shifter. I really love the feel of the M3 shifter.

I did see a M4 review on youtube by some European guy and they showed a clip of the M4 from a distance driving through canyon. The exhaust actually sounded very unique and cool. I wouldn't think Ferrari but Porsche like. I can't find that review now, everyone has their reviews out.

MANY of you have been curious about the Key fob.. Lets put it to rest.
I have some pictures side by side of my old 2013 e92 key fob next to the m4's..
so they are both up to date and you can see how much larger the new key is compared to the old.
I've experienced that monstrosoty on the new rentals. I don't know why BMW wants to fill your entire pocket with plastic. At least they gave you a special M case.

If you cut a hole in the carbon fiber it becomes worthless structure. Carbon fiber pieces have to be on unit. Maybe they could make panels, but it wouldn't be the whole roof and the point of weight is lost.

I'm mad I got sunroof in my E92 now because my damn head don't fit. I hit the cieling on bumps. With a helmet I'll have to lean the seat back gansta style.
