My Tanzanite M3

Picked her up a few weeks ago, finally got around to taking some photos (iPhone, nothing sophisticated). Got into this from a 2013 F10 M5 and am loving the lighter weight and slightly more playful nature of the car.

Had a full CQuartz treatment done last week, highly recommend it.

Mods so far:
-MP carbon splitters and lip
-Mach Schnell 15mm spacers on all 4 corners
-Painted front reflectors
-M3 embroidered floor mats
-Austin Yellow engine cover (thanks Greg FEightytwo)

Beautiful car. The front license plate ruins everything what the front bumper has to offer. Freakin CA laws sucks!

Fantastic color....I'm a little biased though!

Just picked up mine last week. First mods on the way for me are black kidney grills and increased clutch stop for my 6MT. Tint is scheduled for later this month.

I hear ya - if I hadn't already been ticketed twice for not having a front plate, I would have left it off. Fortunately, the US Millworks plate holder is an easy on-off affair for times when I'd rather not have it on.

Nice! I need to make an appointment for a tint soon. What are you going with? I can't decide how dark to go.

I went with 20% but my car's a bit lighter than yours (YMB) I think anywhere from 20-35% is good depending on your preference and how strict your local law enforcement is with tints

Probably 20%. I had it on my E46 back in the day. My E90 came with tint from the previous owner and it was a bit lighter (seemed like 25% or so). If I can get that it would be perfect. I had 35% a long time ago on another E46 and it was too light.

Seriously, Tanzanite might be my favorite color ever. You get the luxurious feel of a dark color while still having a pop of color. I feel it offers a great variety in different lighting too.
