'18 AW ZCP F80 Build Thread

I've been meaning to get this posted since last Friday when I picked up the new car but been too busy driving around lol. This break-in period is killing me, already put 250 miles on it in the last 3 days trying to power through and finally rev past 5k.

Anyways, this is going to be my build thread for the F80. My previous car was a fully modded E90 335xi which held the world record for highest HP. 683AWHP/675AWTQ was what it made on E75 pushing 31 PSI on a map I daily drove for the last two years... I finally decided to sell it after driving a few F80's and falling in love. Honestly, I thought I was going to miss the old car but as of right now i'm enjoying the F80 so much i'm not even looking back.

Below are some pics of my old E90 and then the new F80. I already have a couple parts on order as I don't like to keep things stock for too long... Definitely not planning on going too crazy like I did on the E90, but I will be doing a relatively aggressive yet clean build. I already have a solid idea the direction I plan to go but i'm reading more and more to come up with new ideas everyday. Anyways, enough talking and onto some pics

I'm going to try to keep this thread pretty up to date but also trying something new with this build and going to do an instagram page for the car.

3/8/2018: Delivery day

. Car is a 2018 ZCP fully loaded with black full leather, exec package, driving assistance plus, black 666m, carbon roof, etc...

3/22/2018: BMS billet exhaust tips and red start/stop button installed. Got some more parts to throw on this weekend but these were quick installs. Love the tips, 10x better than the stock look

3/22/2018: Car got ceramic coated, JL-Motoring M4 style spoiler installed, and IND paint matched reflectors. Got some more big updates coming in the next few days

4/1/2018: Front splitter setup installed. OEM w/ underside splitter painted alpine white and wrapped in xpel film.

4/11/2018: Picked up a Vicrez (Vorsetiner rep) 3-piece diffuser off a forum member for a good price. Love the look with the BMS tips and pretty much completed the rear of the car.

4/17/2018: Progress photoshoot. Buddy of mine that's a photographer edited the pics for me but all were taken on an iPhone X

5/7/2018: Lowered on Emanuelle Design springs and 15mm Macht Schnell spacers all around. Perfect stance IMO

5/8/2018: Spent a few hours today vinyl wrapping the seatbacks in Vivid Vinyl 4d carbon. Love the look of carbon seatbacks but wasn't willing to spend the $1k+. This was $40 all in

damn i remember your car from back in the day from at least 5-6 years ago... good ol' E90 post.

congrats on the F80. its a major step up from the E9x platform. you wont regret it (i know i dont).

Hey buddy congrats on the new car. I got an e92 m3 (@jason__m3 on instagram - there are two underscores there). Did you sell your old one or are still trying to get rid of it?

Hey man, hope you're doing well! I wound up selling my old E90 to a guy up in Apalachin, NY and it should be loaded onto a truck headed back out East sometime in the next few days

OP updated. Got some big updates coming the next few days and should be wrapping up the exterior mods relatively soon. After that probably some minor details to the interior then time for some performance upgrades

Absolutely beautiful ride! Very tasteful, yet aggressive.

So did your car come with the Red Start/Stop button or is that one from iND or the other vendors? My cars currently in the mid-Atlantic bustin' 15 knots and I was about to order the one from iND, but if it came on it I won't.
