2016 M3--Buy Outright or Assume Lease

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
I’ve got an absolutely gorgeous 2016 BMW M3s sitting in my garage. But it’s not mine. Belongs to a relative.

Simple story. Relative gets dream job in Silicon Valley. Leases dream car: the M3. Six months later dream job gets ever better. Huge promotion . . . but requires relocating to Hong Kong.

Can’t take the BMW, which is equipped with virtually every option offered on a 2016 M3 except carbon brakes. MSRP is $81K-plus. A distress sale. Yes, he’s distressed that he can’t keep it, but it’s gotta go.

The lease is with BMW Financial Services, which has 30 months left of the 36. Allows 12K miles per year. Odo currently has 6300 miles.

But the buyer could also purchase the car outright.

If you are interested, my relative is highly motivated and will take any reasonable offer. He’d like to get all the paper work handled before he leaves for HK in mid May.

Current monthly is $1145, but I could get it down into the $800s for the right buyer.

He's gotta come down more than that on a 2016. It's a few weeks away from being a 2 year old car (or 3 depending on how you look at it)as the 2018s are right around the corner.

There are 80k sticker 2017s doing 70k.

Assuming the lease is probably the better deal. But if you are interested in discussing this further, please contact me using my email (eleven-tenths@cox.net) or phone/text (949-683-9546). Thanks.
