For those w/ the Skene front plate bracket mounts

I just installed mine with the included double sided tape only and didn't secure with screws by drilling into the underside of the bumper.

Has anyone else gone this route? How long did it last?

Went out for a couple highway blasts and seemed very sturdy. The only thing I can think of that would cause it to fail over time is the humidity/temperature or an outside force/impact affecting the adhesion of the tape.

Was also thinking about reinforcing with some magnets as well.
