Did you opt for the moonroof or just full CF roof?
Did you guys opt for moonroof or just the full CF roof and why? I've had moonroofs in every one of my vehicles but I don't think I've ever used them hahaha

Considering this is the most i have ever spent on a car there was no way i was not going to take home a carbon fibre roof!
I'm old school and dislike sunroofs, i expect them to leak at some point and i never have used them even when i tried to use them in cars I've rented or borrowed their just not for me. I would go for a convertible before i bought a car with a sun roof. |

We ordered our M4 with the moonroof, because we like the added light in the cockpit. In addition, the vented part of the moonroof allows great ventilation when parked in the hot Texas sun in the summer. We never use the actual opening sunroof part. I am always amazed at all the leak comments in the forum. Of 18 BMWs we have had, 16 have had a moonroof or sunroof (the other 2 were convertibles), and we have never had a leak, ever. The CF roof looks great, but it wasn't my choice for my M4.

Moonroof- I have mine open just as long as the temps are above 40 degrees and no rain. CF definitely looks better. I'll most likely do a gloss black wrap on the roof at some point which will give the car a more aggressive look and almost similar to the CF other than the bubble.

moon roof in order to have the factory roof rack bolts. Yes I know there's a hack but I'm not drilling into my car.

I’ve had many vehicles with moonroofs, sunroofs and one with large panoramic roof. Pretty rare occasion when I ever opened one, or even opened the inside shade. Don’t have any need for one, so I was glad to get a cf roof.
