Nice! Congrats. It's such a great piece of kit at that price point.

Agreed, a lance with a foam cannon is too awkward to hold, the spray gun is much better.

Agreed, I have the same one. Made a world of difference for me. Foam lays on much thicker for me now.

Here's the kit - https://www.esotericcarcare.com/mtm-...am-cannon-kit/

Got a video on it too -

Recently completed my Sun Joe 3001 with the MTM gun and foam cannon. Make sure you install the 1.1 orifice on the foam gun, it makes for better foam out of the lower gpm Sun Joe washers.

I use a sunjoe and it works well for washing the car, that's about it. Its underpowered if you want to tackle anything else like a deck or a large driveway would simply take too long.

Yeah man! Well now you know what I use! For the price I felt it was a no brainer.

I'm trying to justify buying Kranzle K1122TST. Pricey, but it's top of the line, German made.

My detailer Envious Eric has been telling me it's unnecessary for me. If I get a small tank for clear water w/o salt and hook it up to something like a SunJoe + MTM Hydro, I should be fine but I am hyper picky so... I'd either do something as good as I can or not at all half of the time.

I haven't done it yet though...

I could understand if it's like a laferrari, p1, or even a Zonda, but when you own them you're not buying pressure washers. You probably own the company that makes them and you pay someone else to do it lol

This was my reaction at first, but then I started contemplating...

It's once you get passionate enough about car care and detailing that you want the best. Better flow, better quality parts, better experience...

Argument Camry drivers make: It takes me from A to B just fine. Remember there are different levels of crazy.

I'm off, Knights - Caps game is starting.

Although I did hear really good things about the Sunjoe, it didn't fit the bill of what I wanted.

I was there then just decided on a whim to do it. So I bought one, I might do a review on it once it comes in. We'll have to see. And I have super hard water at my house so it'll be interesting to see the long lasting effects on that. Debating also getting a CR Spotless not only for the car but for extending the potential life of the pressure water, I think my TDS is like 600?but really hard water. That being said, I wanted to go with something cheaper, but I found they all didn't fit the bill of what I wanted. So unfortunately I did the unthinkable and bought a Kranzle. But I'm super excited for it and can't wait for it to get here.

There is a $80 pressure washer at home depot (only 1600 psi) that has a detergent tank. It has great reviews. What is the difference between this and the one OP bought? will the detergent tank be able to function as a foam cannon?

No, the detergent tank will only shoot soapy water on your car. It will probably do the same, but if you're looking to give your car a foam bath. You need a foam cannon.

You won't get Instagram likes with just soapy water .

^^^^^LOL

the detergent tank acts as a foam cannon, but its not the same. The whole premise of the foam cannon is to get soap on the car before agitating so it starts the break down of the dirt. A spray bottle with some soapy water works just as well, but would be a paint in the ass (an not look cool). The other problem with the detergent tank on these cheaper pressure washers is that the line is full of soap while you are trying to rinse, so you always get some residual soap on your clean panel. Some people will just wipe it off, some will keep flushing with water.

Thanks for posting- I was wondering what the point of the foam cannons were outside of the instagram photos.

I suppose it will also help save my back from having to stoop down to rinse and resoap the sponge in the bucket every couple of minutes.

I have a Sunjoe with foam cannon and love it. If I were in the profession of auto detailing I might look into a Kranzle but for a significant amount cheaper I found
another nice alternative online for home use.

Lengthy video but he compares a Sun Joe to his Kranzle. Some helpful info in there that could help w/ your decision.

I watched it before. He also sells Kranzle so there's some bias involved.
I'm sure I'll get it at some point in the near future, probably late at night after I had a few.
