You two indeed are. My brother is a dick head by hobby and by profession too, and all I can say is that I'd rather spend the Christmas with you two than him.

Hey I have great hits for your collection of plates! I'll send them to you one day. This is a paradise for those as soon as I have the time to sort them out.

Excellent. Always looking to add to the PL8 collection. Whenever you want to send some, figure out a way to PM me or something and I can send you an email address to use (which, for the usual reasons, I don't wanna just put on the wall or here)

(and, for what it is worth: Arizona. Arizona is far and away the most vanity-plate heavy place I have ever been. Was there in October. took us 20 min to drive out of a parking lot because I had to stop and take a picture every 3 cars. Absolute insanity)

No problem. It needed an ending. I looked at my pictures from the trip all night, and damn I kind of like this country. I'm pretty sure Canada won't be as entertaining.

Solstice I thought about what I'd tell you as my opinion of Peter, but I decided I need an other car I can pick on. I just can't find faults that I'd mention out loud when it has already a name everyone who's read it, keeps using.

Thanks for the whole trip blog...I have driven across this country different directions 7 times because of work and it is amazing, but mostly because of the people. Appreciate you being candid and wringing the car out!

Thank you, and I agree with you completely. I admit many things, but a speeder of course I am not.

Cheers Tacoma, let's take the cars out one night for a milk run! It was a pleasure to meet you yesterday.

I'd have to agree. Canadians are friendlier, pack less guns, and therefore less amusement too. It's more thrilling to swim in an ocean (with all its dangers lurking below) than it is a lake.

But welcome anyway eh!

Well I can always go and feed Peter to polar bears there, but I agree with you about the guns taking the fun away from a country! Ours is no friendlier than yours when it comes to those, so we have to also try to get along with the neighbors instead of just shooting them.

I have to say that the amount of guns here scares the hell out of me. I dont want to let the kids go play in other peoples houses, since I have no idea what they have there and how well they are hidden.

Yup to the both of you. There is no doubt your odds of being shot down there are much higher, which adds a level of excitement you just don't get up in the great white north.

(sadly, a literal title today. yesterday? +25 C. Right now? 0 and #$!!@$!@$# snowing. $#@$!$ mountain weather....but I digress. Where was I? Oh yes....)

The Lups Canadian Delivery blog would be much more full of pilsner, plaid toques and polar bears...but there is potential there. Frankly, I see room for a Top Gear style feature where Lups becomes the first to take an M4 to the arctic circle....sort of coming full circle with her Finnish roots, which I am sure (with no basis whatsoever) are chock full of Lapplander heritage. You would definitely need the tent up there. The heels? Well, maybe not so much......

This has potential my friend! Actually I like the idea, must be developed a little. I will start marketing it today at home, I think my life insurance was just doubled so I do not see a reason to get a no as an answer, I was allowed to buy a motorcycle just now too.

Also I have to say, that I can pretty much turn anyone into a monster, so steady Canadians will be sorry for letting me in. I will however look forward seeing those horrible outfits officers have there.

Yes, nothing projects the 'majesty of the law' like these Finnish officers dressed like Barney the dinosaur....

Hey so I got up 3AM Friday drove to STL jumped on a plane to SEA last minute decision to go trekking with my brothers in the North Cascades. Brother picks me up at SEA, driving north on I-5 about 11AM, and a screaming hornet goes by headed south on I-5. Can't be too many of those around, even in a place like Seattle.

Hmm, it actually could've been me. Sorry about that... If I remember correctly, Friday was Lups want's to kill everyone day, and I usually move that feeling to the pavement.

Yup, that's why we avoid them like plague. A friend of mine is a cop, and I always keep telling him that he should turn gay because the ladies sure as hell won't go for that uniform. Even CSI will not turn those guys back home cool.

Nice blog. Sounds like a great adventure and experience.

I did my first long driving trip this summer, 4000 miles North Carolina to Colorado and back through the middle states.

Haha thanks, I had the time of my life! I have had a lot of mail via here and via blog saying people are going to do the same thing, so maybe others also can learn to put their hair down, and not just leave it to the pillow.

Slide you know by personal experience how awful I am with words about cars. Poor Clarkson is an old man whom I've liked always, I'd hate to be the one killing him.

Put on one of your wife's mops, and you are indeed in and a welcomed party member as usual.

Hey now! I can't pull off pink, it makes me look nice and that's cruelty to the unsuspecting people around me. You really should know better Slide! Red, or as black as my heart would work!
